Our Chili
. . . Featured in "KILLER CHILI"

The Vanilla Bean Café has its chili featured in a new cook book by Stephanie Anderson -Killer Chili: Savory Recipes from North America's Favorite Chili Restaurants.
Killer Chili serves up the hottest chili recipes from 50 renowned restaurants in the US and Canada. This latest mouthwatering volume of the Killer series follows on the heels of the popular Killer Ribs and Killer Pies, and presents the best bowl-filling fare in North America.
Filled with savory secret formulas, including a beer-laden chorizo sausage chili, a tempting Cape Cod seafood variety, a meatless Southwestern vegetable chili, and a rosemary-flavored Tuscan version, this cookbook contains old favorites, exotic new twists, and everything in between to satisfy any craving for a steaming bowl of red.
Since 1989, The Vanilla Bean Café has been making and offering quality food to their guests. The chili has been on the menu since the first year of operation. The only thing that has changed is the quantity in each batch. In 2006, the café sold over 10,000 pounds of chili. These days the Bean offers many different kinds of chili on their daily specials board throughout the year, including vegetable chili, turkey chili and white bean and chicken chili.
